Sony FE 28mm F2 first look review
Sony has recently introduced several new FE lenses for the full frame E-mount cameras. I’ve had the chance to briefly test the new FE 28mm F2 at a photo show (Professional Imaging in Nijkerk) and I wanted to share a some thoughts and quick photos I’ve taken with this lens. This is by no measure a full review, just a collection of my first look experiences.
Lowepro Photo Hatchback 16L AW camera backpack review
Lowepro is well known for their high end photo gear. They have a wide variety of bag and backpacks to suit every photographers style and preference. Most of the Lowepro bag have a distinct photobag-look, you won’t fool anyone in their bags being just a bag or backpack. That can’t be said for the Photo Hatchback series. The backpack looks like a high end hikers backpack, with a sleek and modern look.
Sony FE 28-70mm F3.5-5.6 review
This is a rolling review is about the Sony FE 28-70mm F3.5-5.6 OSS lens. The 28-70 is the kit lens for the Full Frame Sony A7-series camera’s. When you buy it as a single lens it will cost you about 450 euro’s but if you buy it in a kit you’ll pay much less. This lens does get a lot of bad rep online. It isn’t sharp enough, build quality isn’t high enough and the lens is too big. Spoiler alert: I don’t agree.
